JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Jacksonville police are searching for two men who allegedly shot at a teen after robbing him.

Officers said the men tried to get the teen's iPhone and wallet on Alpha Avenue in the Murray Hill area.

Officers told News4Jax the men did not get the phone, but the teen's wallet is still missing.

When the teen attempted to get away, the two men reportedly shot him in the back with some type of gun, possibly a pellet gun.

The teen was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said they don't believe the teen knew the suspects.

Officers are looking for two black males last seen wearing red shirts.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
