Police arrest dozens in beach ruckus

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -

Police arrested dozens of people who said they were looking to cause trouble.  They went to Fort Lauderdale Beach on Memorial Day. 

Broward County Sheriff's Office deputies and Fort Lauderdale police officers made several arrest after reports of people jumping onto taxi cabs, reaching into vehicles and striking drivers. 

According to local television new reports police shut down bridges leading to the beach to make the arrests. 

Authorities say no one was hurt.
