Police arrest three after finding frozen gators in home

LAKE WALES, Fla. -

Central Florida deputies arrested three people after finding hundreds of grams of methamphetamine and alligators in a home. 

According to the Associated Press the Ledger of Lakeland reports The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the alligators in the home were frozen.   According to ehow.com in the state of Florida it is illegal to own an alligator. 

In the home were parents and their 10-month-old twin babies and another man.

Deputies say bags of meth and multiple methamphetamine smoking devices were in reach of the twins.

Deputies found the alligators in the freezer.  The women in the home said she was planning to stuff the reptiles. 

They arrested all three adults in the home and the Department of Children and Families took custody of the twins. 

The Ledger reports deputies charged the parents with multiple charges including negligent child abuse.
