Police ID man killed in Murray Hill club

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police have identified the man who died early Sunday morning in a Murray Hill club as a 24-year-old.

Marris Brown was one of five shot inside Fat Kat Lounge.

Patrol officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office were working off-duty outside the business on South Edgewood Avenue near Roosevelt Boulevard just before 4 a.m. when shots were reported inside.

More than 200 people were inside the lounge at the time, according to police.

The other four shot were taken to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries.
