Man's body recovered from St. Johns River

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 70-year-old man's body was recovered from the St. Johns River near Memorial Park in Riverside on Tuesday morning, according to Jacksonville police.

Homicide investigators were called to where Lancaster Terrace meets the river about 10:50 a.m.

They said the cause of the man's death is undetermined.

Police said they have surveillance video of the man walking along the river, then going into the water, but they are uncertain if he went in on purpose or fell in.
