Police looking for San Pablo bank robber

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in the San Pablo area Wednesday afternoon.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the man went inside the Fifth Third Bank at 14400 Beach Blvd. about 3:30 p.m., approached a teller and demanded money. Police said no gun was seen.

The man fled south on San Pablo Road with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

It's unclear how many people were inside the bank at the time.

The man is described as white, between 30 and 35 years old, 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 5 inches tall, with black or possibly dark brown hair and a goatee.

By late afternoon, police released a surveillance photo of the man they were seeking.
