Police looking for woman who tried to rob store

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released a surveillance photo of the woman who
tried to robb the Gate store in northwest Jacksonville early Thursday morning.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police are looking for a woman they say came into a Gate gas station store on New Kings Road early Thursday morning and handed the clerk a note demanding money.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office say the woman left the store without receiving any cash and was seen entering a small white vehicle driven by another unknown person.

Police describe the suspect as a white woman between 20 and 30 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing between 180 and 190 pounds. She was wearing a hooded top and Jordan sneakers.

Anyone who has any information about this individual or incident is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward up to $3,000, contact Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
