VIDEO: Police in Gainesville are looking for a man who's been committing a disgusting act by walking up to women and relieving himself on them.

Gainesville police are on the lookout for a urinating bandit. Police said someone is walking up to women near the University of Florida campus and urinating on them, then running off.

Originally three cases were reported, then more women started coming forward after hearing other victim's stories. Police said they now have six victims who were urinated on by the man.

Gainesville police said the man has been urinating on women for the last month.

"We had a gentleman -- he's not a gentleman -- a suspect around the campus area that is urinating on females from different times of the day," said Gainesville police Officer Ben Tobias.

Tobias said the tinkle terror is spreading around the city.

"In one of the reports, the female victim felt him bump into her before he began urinating. There's no easy way to say that straight-faced either," said Tobias.

The University of Florida sent out the following alert to students Wednesday:

"The [Gainesville Police Department] is currently investigating four occurrences of battery and exposure of sexual organs that took place on Saturday, February 22, 2014 after 3 a.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2014 after 12 p.m., and Saturday, March 1, 2014 after 3:30 a.m. The incidents took place between the 100 and 200 block of NW 17th Street and the 900 block of West University Avenue across from the University of Florida campus. According to information provided by the GPD, the victims were standing with their backs turned to the suspect when they suddenly felt that they were being urinated on (battery). When the victims confronted the suspect, he was found exposing himself and then left the area on foot after the confrontation."

The urinating bandit is described as a black man between the ages of 25-30. Police said he's been described as being about 6 feet tall with a medium to chunky build. During the last urination situation, the man was wearing a dark hoodie sweatshirt and baggy jeans.

Anyone with information about the incident or who may know the man's identity is asked to call the Gainesville Police Department at 352-955-1818. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 352-372-STOP (7867).
