JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police are investigating an armed carjacking that happened about 4:30 a.m. Saturday in Arlington.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported that they were called to the Gregory Cove Apartments at 5601 Edenfield Road.

Police spoke with the victim, who said an unknown man and an unknown woman, armed with a handgun forcibly took his 2012 Kia Soul.

Police said they saw the victim's vehicle after the carjacking, traveling westbound on the Mathews Bridge.  After following the vehicle, it was stopped at Liberty Street and 8th Street and all people in the vehicle were taken into custody.

A second vehicle, possibly connected to the incident was stopped on North Main Street.  The occupants of that vehicle were detained as well, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

All individuals are in custody and are waiting to be interviewed by JSO robbery detectives.
