Police: Meth lab busted in Kingsland

KINGSLAND, Ga. – A methamphetamine lab in a motel room in Kingsland, Georgia, was busted Monday night by the Kingsland Police Department and Camden County Sheriff's Office narcotics deputies.

The officers and deputies executed a search warrant at about 8:30 p.m. on room 266 at the Travelers Lodge Motel after getting tips from the public.

Inside the room, investigators found materials and equipment commonly used to manufacture methamphetamin,e along with other illegal drug paraphernalia, police said. The occupant of the room was 36-year-old Brian Daniel Rauch of Jacksonville.

Rauch was arrested and charged with one count of violations of Georgia's controlled substance act, manufacturing a controlled substance, which is a felony.

Local citizens are encouraged to continue to provide any information on suspicious activities to police officers or call the emergency 911 center. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
