GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. -

The Glynn County Police Department is searching for a man suspected of killing his girlfriend early Wednesday morning.

Officers arrived to a home on Blythe Island Drive in Brunswick shortly after midnight in reference to a shooting.  When they arrived, Casey Nicole Mitchell, 33, was found dead inside.

Investigators determined a domestic dispute occurred between Mitchell and her boyfriend, 37-year-old Jermaine Javon Thomas.

Officers said he fled the area prior to the officers' arrival.  He is wanted for murder and is considered armed and dangerous.

Thomas was last seen driving a late 90s to early 2000 model Ford Expedition that's burgundy in color.

If you have information, call Det. Latanya Shaw with the Glynn County Police Department at 912-297-2914 or the Silent Witness hotline at 912-264-1333.
