Police seek ID of Family Dollar burglar

Police are looking for a man who smashed out the front door of the Family Dollar store on Lem Turner Road early Monday morning, went in and made off with the cash register.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, police responded to an audible burglar alarm at 2:16 a.m.

Responding officers found a portion of the front glass door shattered and a cash register missing from the store.

Police have released two still images from surveillance video showing the robber and asking the public to help identify the man.

Anyone who has any information about the location or identity of the person in the photos is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org.
