Police seeking forgery suspect on Northside

JSO is asking for the assistance of the community in attempting to identify and locate a suspect who attempted to pass a forged check at the Community First Credit Union on Lem Turner Road.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the assistance of the community in attempting to identify and locate a forgery suspect on the city's Northside.

The suspect was captured on video July 5, attempting to pass a forged check at the Community First Credit Union on Lem Turner Road. The check was previously stolen from an elderly victim.

The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.

Anyone who has any information on the suspect is asked to contact JSO at 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward up to $3,000 contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
