JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Investigators are trying to identify a woman and a man in connection with using checks stolen from a car last month.

Jacksonville police said the car was burglarized Dec. 8 in the 5000 block of Norwood Avenue on the Northside.

A witness saw two young men burglarize the car and flee on foot to a nearby neighborhood, according to police.

On Dec. 12, a woman was seen various Walmart video surveillance images making purchases with the victim's checks.

Police said the woman is a suspect and the man seen in the images is a person of interest.

Anyone who has any information on their identities is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
