Police try to ID man wanted in 2 robberies

Convenience stores robber
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police in Jacksonville are trying to identify a man they believe robbed two convenience stores in the last month.

Murphy Express at 11930 Beach Blvd. Was robbed at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday. A Kangaroo store 11985 Beach Blvd. Was robbed at about 3:30 a.m. May 11.

In both cases, the robber was wearing a mask, displayed a firearm, and demanded money and Newport cigarettes.

Anyone who has any information on his identity is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
