Rising moon products recalled

There's a concern of Listeria contamination

Carmel Food Group is recalling three Rising Moon Organic products, all of which are ravioli with spinach.   

The Food and Drug Administration reports the items are at risk of Listeria contamination.  The item in question is the spinach.  Listeria was found in spinach when tested.  Listeria can be harmful to anyone, but children, the elderly and pregnant woman are most at risk.

According to the FDA, the items of concern are the Garlic & Veggie Ravioli, the Spinach Florentine Ravioli and the Spinach & Cheese Ravioli.  The Garlic & Veggie Ravioli has a sell by date of January 9, 2016.  The UPC number is 7-85030-00011-3.  The Spinach Florentine Ravioli has a sell by date of January 19, 2016 with the UPC number 7-85030-22770-1.  The Spinach & Cheese Ravioli has the sell by dates of December 22, 2015; December 30, 2015; December 31, 2015; January 2, 2016; January 19, 2016 and January 20, 2016.  The UPC number for the Spinach & Cheese Ravioli is 7-85030-55561-3.

According to the FDA, the recall is voluntarily.  So far Carmel Food Group indicates no one has reported an illness.
