Road rage leads to assault with a gun

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A 40-year-old man was arrested in Gainesville Thursday after a road rage incident led to a gun being drawn and three men were threatened.

According to police, Ziyad Saada got into an argument with a man on a motorcycle while sitting at a red light.

Saada got out of his car and walked over to the motorcyclist cursing and yelling at the rider. When he was close enough, Saada punched the man on the bike in the head even though he was wearing a helmet, police said.

Officials said the motorcyclist took off trying to get away from Saada, and went to a Chipotle on University Avenue where he was meeting two friends.

Saada followed the victim and when he stopped, Saada got out of his car again and got in the face of the motorcyclist and started cursing and yelling at him before heading back to his car and grabbing a gun.

Police said that's whenSaada turned around with the gun behind his back, started pointing his finger at all three people and said "I am going to kill you all. I will shoot you. I will blow your head off."

Saada was arrested and taken to the Alachua County Jail.
