Sanderson man pleads guilty to cocaine distribution

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Arnold Clayton, 42, of Sanderson, pleaded guilty Monday to distribution of cocaine and cocaine base.

Clayton sold cocaine, cocaine base and marijuana to a confidential source on July 13, 2012, according to the plea agreement.

Clayton had two prior federal drug convictions for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and cocaine base in 1999 and distribution of cocaine base in 2007.

Clayton faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in federal prison. No sentencing date has been set.
