MIAMI, Fla. -

Senator Marco Rubio wants to boost the middle class.  He thinks retirement security for Americans should be strengthened.

He is scheduled to propose a security plan Tuesday.  Rubio will speak at the National Press Club in Washington.

Part of his plan includes making it easier to save for retirement for younger workers.  Rubio is also expected to overall federal entitlement programs such as Medicare and Social Security.  Another one of his ideas is the removal of financial penalties for those who choose to work longer as seniors.

Sen. Rubio is a potential presidential candidate for 2016.
