Renee Johnson has sold more than 400 copies of her book, The Blaze of Consumption: A Rise From the Ashes. It also served as an inspiration for a new play, Something's Gotta Give, written by CeDarian Crawford.

 It's an epidemic that affects individuals in every community.  One in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime and an estimated 1.3 million women are victims of physical assault by an intimate partner each year. And
 85 percent of domestic violence victims are women. Most of these cases are never reported to the police.

Renee Johnson, a victim of abuse has written a book: The Blaze of Consumption, A Rise From the Ashes. She has sold more than 400 copies since she first published the book last year.

On January 25th, she is hosting a play called "Something's Gotta Give." The play will be held at the New Life Evangelistic Center on Lone Star Road. The show starts at 7:00pm.
