JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police arrested a man who admitted to robbing a Southside Jimmy John's to pay back a drug dealer.
Police said the robbery took place at a Jimmy John's sandwich shop on the city's Southside about 4 p.m. Sunday.

Police responded to the call at the restaurant on University and Beach boulevards after a suspect threatened the clerk. While he did not show a gun, he had a hand in his pocket.
According to police, the suspect, Billy Turner, 38 years old, demanded they open the cash registers and place the money on the counter. One of the witnesses took
a photo of the suspect as he walked out of the store and called police.
The suspect's description was sent out to all units in the area. Officer Griffis located the suspect walking east on Harvin Road about a half-mile from the business, according to police. The suspect was detained.
About 10 feet away the officer discovered about $200 lying on the ground.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect was interviewed by a Robbery detectives . Police said the suspect admitted to robbing the Jimmy John's to pay off his drug dealer. The suspect was arrested and transported to the jail charged with Strong Arm Robbery.
