Suspicious duffel bags left at Walmart contained clothes

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man and woman tossed two duffel bags filled with clothes into a Walmart parking lot Tuesday afternoon and sped off, prompting the bomb squad to respond and close the store for hours, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Officers were called to the store at 4200 Philips Highway just before 4 p.m.

The store was evacuated and reopened just before 6:30 p.m.

Police did not immediately release any other information.
