JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office bomb squad rendered a suspicious device safe at a Northside business Friday.

Police were called to Action 9A Storage at 10416 New Berlin Road at about 10:20 a.m.

They said the manager was clearing out one of the storage units and found a white PVC pipe with end caps and called police.

Police confirmed the device looked suspicious, and the bomb squad was called.

New Berlin Road was closed during the process of rending the device safe.
