JSO: Michael Farrell charged with Aggravated Assault and Felony Domestic Battery by Strangulation

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The subject of a SWAT callout and manhunt Sunday in Arlington is now in custody, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Suspect Michael Farrell was the subject of the SWAT call out Sunday on Glen Gardner Drive.

Police received a call that he was wanting to turn himself in.

Police responded to 306 Center Avenue where the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

A man is being sought after police say he barricaded himself in his home with a gun when he got into an argument with his father, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

A BOLO was issued for Farrell after police said he barricaded himself in his home with a gun when he got into an argument with his father.

The neighborhood along Glen Gardner Drive was locked down during the incident as SWAT attempted to negotiate with Farrell, according to JSO.

Farrell has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Felony Domestic Battery by Strangulation.
