ORANGE PARK, Fla. -

A 15-year-old boy who was shot during a standoff with a Clay County deputy on Saturday night has died.

Hadrian Miguel Rabadan was shot in woods behind Hercules Drive after the boy's grandmother had called authorities saying he was suicidal and had a gun.  He was spotted in a nearby wooded area, where a K9 unit confronted him.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Rabadan fired one shot, then Deputy Jason Graff fired at the teen.   He was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office was notified of the teen's death on Tuesday night.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigators are trying to determine whether he shot himself or was injured by the deputy.
