The Strand sold for $53.3 million

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Strand, the high-rise apartment building on the Southbank, has been sold for $53.3 million, according to the Financial News and Daily Record.

According to data provided to the Duval County Clerk of Court, the 29-story building was sold Sept. 30 by The Strand Investors Limited Partnership to 1401 Riverplace LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with an address listed in Miami.

The building's assessed value, according to the Duval County Property Appraiser, is $41.8 million.

The Strand opened in 2007.
