Thief shoves puppies down his pants at Orlando store

Surveillance video shows man walking into store with toddler

ORLANDO, Fla. – Police are looking for a man who stole two puppies from an Orlando store on Saturday.

It happened around 6:45 PM at The Puppy Stop at 2515 East Colonial.

Surveillance video captures the man taking an $800 pug from its crib, and then shoving the dog in his pants.

After walking out to his car and coming back in the store, the man does the same thing again with a $750 miniature dachshund.

Eddie Rosario said the thief walked in with what appeared to be a decent family -- another man, a woman and a toddler.

"They used a kid to steal the dog. I mean, you come here to steal a dog with a kid, that's insane," Rosario said.

Another camera outside the store captures the group piling into what appears to be a dark colored or silver Ford Crown Victoria with damage to the front end.

The owner of the store, Charles Glass, said he's offering a $250 reward to anyone who has information that can lead to an arrest.
