Thieves steal 12 cases of beer from Walmart in Titusville

A Walmart manager tried stopping thieves that stole 12 cases of beer from the store located along Cheney Highway in Titusville.

TITUSVILLE, Fla. -

A Walmart manager tried stopping thieves that stole 12 cases of beer from the store located along Cheney Highway in Titusville.

As the thieves took off in their truck, Mike Dawson chased after them and ended up in the back of the vehicle.

Dawson started throwing bottles of beer out of the truck to grab the attention of the other drivers as the thieves drove miles away from town.

Dawson was able to get out of the truck in Canaveral groves at Citrus Boulevard and Pine Street.

Deputies said no one was hurt in the incident, but the two beer thieves are still on the loose.

A man and woman suspected in the robbery are still on the loose.
