Tim Tebow's 1st area restaurant opens next month

PDQ Restaurant to open at Beach and Hodges boulevards

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Tim Tebow's first area PDQ restaurant is expected to open in early November.

According to the Financial News & Daily Record the PDQ at the intersection of Beach and Hodges boulevards will open Nov. 3 and four more area locations have been identified for the chicken restaurant chain.

A spokeswoman said 50-60 stores will be build in North Florida and Georgia.

PDQ stands for "People Dedicated to Quality." Its menu has just nine main items. According to the company's website, the first PDQ opened in 2011 across from Plant High School in Tampa.

The founders of PDQ are partnering with an investment group that includes Tebow. No word on if he will attend a grand opening.
