TNT found on Jax porch
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad was called to an abandoned home on Tyler Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. Friday.

Police told Channel 4 that a person doing a property survey found two sticks of dynamite on the porch of the home.

Police acted quickly and roped off the area. They also evacuated a few people in the immediate area.

Neighbors in the area were told to stay indoors until the scene was clear.

JSO said they are not sure who owns the home or how the dynamite got there.

Sgt. Chris King with JSO Bomb Squad told Channel 4 that they plan to check for other items around the home that could potentially be dangerous.

King said the team will dispose of the TNT properly.
