MARIETTA, Ga. -

The state plans to improve two driver service centers in Cobb County.

The Georgia Department of Driver Services said in a statement the centers aren't equipped to serve residents in the area.  According to the statement, the state is planning to replace and expanding the centers.

Service officials say the two centers are located in Keenesaw and Marietta.  The improved centers are expected to open in 2015.

According to department officials each site logs around 12,000 transactions a month.  The new centers are to be about 10,000 square feet each.
