Two lanes of Philips Hwy close due to crash with injuries

VIDEO: JEA works to fix a pole after a bad crash with injuries on Philips Highway. Two Northbound lanes are closed because of the crash right next to Honda of the Avenues.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A crash with reported injuries involved a vehicle running into a power pole on Philips Highway Saturday evening.

Officials say it happened at 11400 Philips Highway near Osteen Volkswagen.

As result of the crash, officials say hundreds in the area were without power as JEA worked to fix the power pole.

Two northbound lanes of Philips Highway stayed closed for several hours as crews worked to fix the power pole.

Officials have not yet released who was injured, and how extensive their injuries were.
