Brandii Tolbert

VOLUSIA, Fla. -

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in locating a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since December.

Deputies said Brandii Tolbert was reported missing by her Department of Children and Families case worker Dec. 20. Tolbert was being transported to the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home that day when she became upset and jumped out of the car at the intersection of LPGA Boulevard and Derbyshire Road and ran away, officials said.

According to deputies, Tolbert is 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 120 pounds. Tolbert sometimes may stay at a home on Oleander Avenue in Holly Hill.

She told friends on Facebook that she is staying with friends near the Walmart in Daytona Beach and indicated she was close to Nova Road.

If anyone knows of Tolbert’s whereabouts, call Investigator Lance Lamee at 386-323-0151.
