DeLAND, Fla. – A Volusia County woman was arrested on suspicion of breaking and entering her ex-boyfriend's home, armed with a machete, and threatening to cut her kids' heads off.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office charged Alisa Williams, 32, with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and armed burglary.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call in the late afternoon Tuesday. Upon arriving to the DeLand home, he found a blood-covered woman on the front porch, according to the report.
Until two weeks ago, Williams lived in the house with her ex-boyfriend and their three children, deputies said. The ex-boyfriend told deputies he believed she was living in the woods after she moved out.
According to VCSO, Williams used the machete to try to break down the front door. Because her ex-boyfriend and his father were securing the front entrance, Williams broke into the home through the back door. As she entered the residence, her ex-boyfriend's father threw the machete outside and pushed Williams outside as well.
Several witnesses heard an outraged Williams threaten to cut her three children's heads off--all of whom were in the home at the time of the incident.
In her third attempt to enter the home, Williams shattered the front window with her bare hands, and was severely hurt by the broken glass, according to deputies.
Williams was taken to Florida Hospital DeLand for her injuries, then was taken to Volusia County Branch Jail and held without bond.
