JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

JEA has repaired a water main break near Woodstock Park early Wednesday morning, but are expected to remain on the scene most of the day for cleanup.

According to Gerri Boyce, spokesperson for JEA, a water main break to a, 8 inch in diameter, pipe occurred on Broadway Avenue and Allison Street.

Boyce said one customer may be affected and no water boil advisory will be issued.

JEA repaired the break just after 7:30 a.m. but expect crews to remain on the scene for most of the day to clear the roadway.

Broadway Avenue is closed between St. Clair Street and Huron Street while crews work to repair the water pipe.
