JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A 36-year-old Jacksonville woman was convicted Thursday evening of second-degree murder in the shooting death of a 19-year-old man.

Tawana Harvey now faces life in prison, with a 25-year minimum mandatory.

In June 2010, police found the victim, Sidney Kirksey, lying unresponsive in front of his Ernest Street home near Riverside.

Kirksey was taken to the hospital, but later died of a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The investigation revealed that Harvey, who was involved in an ongoing dispute with the Kirksey's family, went to the Kirksey home and shot him.

Harvey will be sentenced the week of June 23.
