JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Sheriffs Office say a woman in her mid 60s was found dead in her Mandarin home at Saturday morning.

The woman lived inside a gated community in the 3900 block of Red Gait Lane, and police say there is evidence inside that could suggest foul play.

Police are interviewing family and friends who were at her home Friday night. Right now they have not determined the woman's cause of death.

"We don't know that it was a homicide however right now indications are that there could be a possibility of foul play don't know that for sure," Sgt. Jay Farhat with the Jacksonville Sheriffs office said.

Police say at least one family member lives in the home with the woman. Officers plan to update us later this morning with more information once they have it.
