ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -

An 35-year-old Ormond Beach woman was struck and killed Saturday night after leaving a nightclub, according to St. Augustine police.

Grace Janice Wieczorek was leaving The Standard club at 200 Anastasia Blvd. and attempting to cross the street when she was struck by a 2007 Honda minivan.

Police say the van was driven by a local woman, who remained on scene and spoke with traffic homicide investigators.

Wieczorek was lying in the road when St. Augustine Fire and St. Johns Rescue arrived. She was transported to Flagler Hospital, where she died.

The driver's name was not released. The incident remains under investigation.
