JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Tawana Lktrease Harvey, 36, was sentenced this week to 38 years in prison -- 25-year minimum mandatory -- for the 2010 murder of 19-year-old Sidney Kirksey.

Harvey was convicted in May of second-degree murder.

Police found the victim lying unresponsive in front of his Ernest Street home in Riverside in June 2010. Kirksey was taken to the hospital, but later died of a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Prosecutors say that Harvey, who was involved in an ongoing dispute with the victim’s family, went to the Kirksey home and shot the victim.
