JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman was shot in the neck at a Red Roof Inn on the Westside on Friday morning, according to Jacksonville police.
The woman was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries after the shooting about 7:15 a.m. in the 6000 block of Youngerman Circle.

Police said a man and woman were in custody for questioning.
