ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A woman is being sought in connection with an armed robbery of an elderly woman Thursday afternoon.
The 76-year-old victim told deputies she was in the parking lot in the 3900 block of State Road A1A South when the woman approached and asked for directions. The robber then brandished a knife and demanded the victim's purse.

Deputies said the robber fled on foot with the victim's purse and cellphone.
The robber is described as a white woman around 40 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and between 140 and 150 pounds with a thick build. She was wearing a grey shirt, black shorts and had salt and pepper hair.
