Woman treated for minor injuries after home invasion

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says a woman was assaulted inside her Heritage Park home.

Police said a woman arrived at her residence on Red House Branch Road shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday. She told deputies she was attacked from behind.

The suspect is described as a white man with brown shaggy hair who is 5 feet 7 inches tall. He wore a blue shirt and dark "work-type" pants.

The woman was transported to Flagler Hospital, where she was treated and released.
