Woman using stolen credit card wanted

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is seeking a woman in connection with the fraudulent use of a credit card last month at a Racetrack Road grocery store.

The victim, who recently moved to the St. Johns area from Georgia, reported finding two fraudulent charges on a credit card that was still in her possession. She also received information from Home Depot that her card was compromised.

Detectives obtained surveillance images of the woman whom they call a suspect who used the victim's credit card number twice at the same cash register on Sept. 25.

The Sheriff's Office said the person they are looking for is a heavyset black woman wearing a pink jogging suit and white sneakers. She also has dark curly hair that was tied in a ponytail at the time of the transaction.
