JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Whether it's an old-fashioned apple pie or a pepperoni pizza pie, today's the day to celebrate.

A local pizza restaurant is joining in the Pi Day festivities by marking down their prices to $3.14.

"This will be our first go at pie day we have heard the tremendous success that the other stores have had through the chain," said Ryan Whittier.

Whittier works at 'Your Pie,' a pizza shop in Tapestry Park on the Southside. It's got a taste of Italy and offers homemade recipes from the founders family. It hopes people come in to kick back and relax.

Your Pie is located at 4828 Deer Lake Drive West in Tapestry Park. The Restaurant is offering the $3.14 pizzas from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

"We we tell our staff that this is our customer's opportunity to take a deep breath during the work day or after a long work week and sit down and enjoy their families," said Whittier.

Your Pie hasn't been open very long in Jacksonville, but it's expecting a big crowd Friday.

"So we really want to bring the masses in and we're gonna have a lot of fun with that creating some beautiful pizzas and hopefully creating some memories for everybody here in Jacksonville," said Whittier.
