What do you see as the top three issues in this race?
- County's Debt - Currently $378 Million, increased by $35 Million in last 2 1/2 years.
- Government Spending - The county spends more than it brings in and pays for it with new debt and decreased reserves. We need to prioritize projects, reduce waste, and spend money where it is needed - infrastructure, and economic development, not government buildings.
- Economic Development - We need to support existing businesses with growth and attract new business to relocate to St. Johns County. We can do this by speeding up permitting, reduce or eliminating impact fees, and getting government out of the way.
