BK, Bolles bring home cross country titles

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -

Bishop Kenny's boys and Bolles' girls won state 2A titles Saturday at the Florida High School Athletic Association cross county championships.

BK's David Yarborough came finished second overall with 15:59.81, leading his team to first place in team competition.  Michael Barr, Alec Sharpe, Zachary Perry and Bradley Franco contributed to the team victory.

In the girl's run, Bolles' Mackenzie Wilson second-place time of 18:28.85 led her team to the top of podium.  Rachel Shapiro, Allison Hajda, Lily Arnold and Ash DeHechavarria all crossed in under 20 minutes and were part of the winning team.

While none of the Mandarin High School's boys finished in the top ten, their collective effort earned the Mustangs second place in Class 4A team competition.
