Cecil Shorts celebrates his 58 yard TD reception to give the Jaguars a 14-6 lead over the Titans.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Jacksonville Jaguars receivers Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts III returned to practice Friday and were listed as probable for Sunday's game at Buffalo.

Blackmon (groin) and Shorts (hamstring) missed practice Thursday, casting doubt on their playing status.

But coach Mike Mularkey says he was being cautious with his top two receivers and expects them to play.

The Jaguars (2-9) will be without running back Maurice Jones-Drew (foot), cornerback Derek Cox (hamstring) and defensive end Austen Lane (foot). All three were ruled out Friday.

With Lane out, Philadelphia Eagles castoff Jason Babin likely will start. The Jaguars claimed Babin off waivers Wednesday.

Mularkey says Babin has "no snap limitations," adding that "he just needs to get to know what we're doing and is on board with all the calls."
