Southern Cal will induct former coach Pete Carroll into its Hall of Fame in 2015, the school announced Tuesday.

Carroll, who now is the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, guided USC to national championships in 2003 and 2004 and seven straight conference titles from 2002 to 2009. The Trojans were also 7-2 in nine bowl trips under Carroll.

Carroll left USC in 2009 season for the Seahawks before the program was hit with NCAA sanctions, leaving some fans bitter about his departure. Carroll's 97-19 record at the school was adjusted to 83-19 after the NCAA penalties.

With Carroll at the helm, the Trojans were ranked No. 1 in the Associated Press poll for 33 consecutive weeks and in the Top 10 for a school-record 63 consecutive games.

Carroll joined the Seahawks in 2010 and has posted a 38-26 record in Seattle. His 2013 team won the Super Bowl after going 13-3 during the regular season.

Former USC linebacker Jack Del Rio also is among the school's class of 16 inductees.
