Florida State tops Georgetown in NIT

TALLAHASSEE -

Top-seeded Florida State marched on to the NIT quarterfinals with a 101-90 win over Georgetown thanks to a career-high 26 points from Aaron Thomas.

The Seminoles shot a season-high 68.2 percent from the floor including 11 of 16 from 3-point range.

Devon Bookert also chipped in with a career-high 21 points to go along with nine assists and five rebounds. Ian Miller scored 18 points and Okaro White finished with 16.

Florida State will host Louisiana Tech on Wednesday night in the NIT quarterfinals.
