Jaguars vs G.I.'s at EverBank Field

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – On Monday, March 2, players from the Jacksonville Jaguars will be putting their skills to the test in something other than football.

They will be playing the popular video game ‘Call of Duty' online against active duty military service men and women currently stationed overseas.

The event, known as Pros vs G.I. Joes, will take place at 1 p.m. in the Upper West Club at EverBank Field where Jaguars players and friends from the Wounded Warrior Project will put their skills to the test with a live feed connecting them to the soldiers stationed abroad.

The event is aimed at showing average military personnel that professional athletes enjoy the same type of activities that they do.

Pro vs G.I. Joes is a non-profit organization out of Irvine, Calif. that puts together professional athletes and service members in competitions that both sides enjoy and feel like they are good at.
